The Prime Minister of the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, said that the Immigration and Nationality Agency should be set up so that the Somali passport would be competitive with other modern passports in the world.

He said the Prime Minister was speaking at an event where the new Director of Immigration and Citizenship, Mr. Mustaf Sheikh Ali (Dhuhulow) took office.
Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, thanked the former director of the agency for the important work he did for the country during his tenure, urging the new director who assumed office to invest his efforts in the development and improvement of the service provided by the agency.
