The new President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Irro, has appointed his new Spokesperson in a recent decree.
Mr. Iro took office and appointed Hussein Aden Deir as his spokesman.
“I have decided; That Eng Hussein Aden Cige (Deyr) from today’s date will be the Spokesman of the President of the Republic of Somaliland” said the decree.
In the circular, he said that he chose Deyr based on his knowledge and experience, hoping that he would perform his duties well.
It is also expected that soon President Irro will release the list of his new Council of Ministers.
The new government is expected to change and deal with the tensions in the far eastern regions of Somaliland.
