President Hassan Sheikh is on his way to Turkey tomorrow after receiving an invitation from his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Various reports are coming out about the President’s trip to Turkey, important news sources say that he will have a face-to-face conversation with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Ankara.
Erdogan is making efforts to mediate between the leaders of Somalia and Ethiopia, in order to end the diplomatic crisis between the two countries.
President Hassan Sheikh has refused several times to meet with Abiy Ahmed, as he has opposed the efforts of the Heads of the State who wanted to meet with him, while the President has already declared that he will not meet with the Ethiopian government until the MOU agreement entered with the Somaliland Administration is withdrawn.
