The government of Somalia has issued a statement on the conflict that caused various casualties today in the city of Kismayo, which was between the forces of Jubaland and security guards of Senator Ilyas Gaboose.
The Federal Government strongly condemned the attack that took place this morning at the Agan Hotel in Kismayo, accusing them of being committed by forces under the command of the Jubbaland administration.
The Minister of National Security of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail Fartaag, described the act as an attempt to ignite a war between the civil brothers.
There is no news yet from Jubaland, although the situation in the city is now stable.
