The counting of votes for the presidential elections and the political organizations that took place yesterday in the areas of Somaliland has been going on peacefully until now.
The Chairman of the Somaliland Electoral Commission, Muse Hassan Haji Yusuf, who was speaking to the local media late last night, said that the polling stations have closed peacefully and the counting of the votes is going on peacefully.
He said that when the votes of districts and regions are counted, they will be sent to the central office of the commission.
Muse Hassan, the chairman of the committee, called on people to calm down and wait for the results of the elections, which will be released by the committee when the counting of votes is completed.
It will take a week to announce the results according to the rules of the commission, which will be on the 21st of November.
