Up to 15 members of al-Shabaab were killed in an operation by the special forces of Danab and Gorgor in cooperation with the local people’s army in Qaycad area in the south of Mudug region.
Earlier in the mornig armed forces and the local area have targeted al-Shabaab positions in the Qaycad area, while the troops have stepped on the areas where the al-Shabaab were located, according to a press release issued by the Federal Government of Somalia.
The forces of the country with the help of the local forces have redoubled the operations against al-Shabaab,with the latest attacks in many parts of the country, taked over Al Shabab areas.
