Somali National Commander of Army, Sergeant Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuddin, today received in his office a delegation lead by the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey General Soner Oruçoğlu, and was accompanied by senior Turkish officials in charge of military construction from the Turkish Government that recently arrived in Mogadishu.
The focus of this meeting was on the construction of the Somalia army forces ,as the Turkish government has a major role in the construction of the forces, training and equipping of the Somali Armed Forces.
Sergent Ibrahim Sheikh praised the Turkish government for its continuous support to Somalia, and he promised that the military will take advantage of the opportunities it getting from Turkey.
