The Commander of the Somali Police Force, General Asad Osman Abdullahi, presided over an emergency meeting attended by all the Commanders, Divisions and Independent Sessions which was to focused on strengthening security in the country, especially in the capital.
The General instructed the officers and gave the order to speed up the matters of security in the Federal Republic of Somalia by clearly stating that everyone entrusted with the responsibility will be held accountable, especially the security of the capital and the general stability of the country.
This action comes after the attack by Al-Shabaab targeting the police School, in which about 10 people, including soldiers and civilians, were killed, while another 10 were injured, after a man with covered with bomb targeted a restaurant in front of the police headquarters in Mogadishu.
