Prabowo Subianto, who was elected as the president of Indonesia in February, is scheduled to officially sit in the presidential office in Jakarta this Sunday, he previously served as the commander of the special forces, won the presidential election early this year, after he entered the campaign with policies that included free meals for school students.
The 73-year-old has invested a lot of time in the nine months of his election to build a strong coalition within the parliament and he will be sworn in today , he will became Indonesia’s eighth president, taking over from outgoing president Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
The outgoing president, Joko Widodo eldest son Gibran Rakabuming Raka who is 37 years old will be the vice president of Subianto.
