The Chief of Defence Forces, General Odowa Yusuf Rageh, today inaugurated the newly completed headquarters of the 6th Battalion Command under the 60th Division of the Land Forces, in Baraawe, Lower Shabelle region.
The completion of this facility is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the operational capacity and leadership structure of the Somali National Armed Forces, aimed at enhancing coordination and security operations across Lower Shabelle and the wider southern regions of the country.
The Somali National Army will continue its efforts to consolidate security, rebuild command facilities, and preserve the gains achieved in the fight against terrorism, to ensure lasting peace and stability throughout Somalia.
