The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has congratulated the Somali MPs who elected to represent Somalia in the East African Parliament.
The President wished them success as they discharge their duties and hailed their election as a testament to Somalia’s commitment to enhancing regional unity and shared prosperity.
President Hassan Sheikh pointed out that these MPs are expected to promote the name and role of Somalia in politics, economy and society in East Africa, and at the same time strive for the unification and development of the region.
