Kigali, Rwanda – The Commander of the Somali National Army, Major General Odawaa Yusuf Rage, and his delegation were warmly received at the Rwanda Defense Force (RDF) Headquarters in Kimihurura.
The purpose of the visit is to further strengthen the longstanding defense ties and enhance bilateral military cooperation between Somalia and Rwanda.
During the visit, Major General Odawaa Yusuf Rage held high-level meetings with Rwanda’s Minister of Defense, Mr. Juvenal Marizamunda, and the RDF Chief of Defence Staff, General MK Mubarakh. Discussions focused on deepening defense collaboration, sharing strategic experiences, and exploring new areas of military cooperation between the two nations.
The visit reflects the commitment of both countries to foster regional peace and security through mutual support and strategic partnerships.
