Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked the recognition of a Palestinian state by many Western countries in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
Netanyahu described the recognition as a “shameful sign” that sends the message that “killing Jews is profitable”.
Dozens of people including officials and diplomats protested and left the hall after Netanyahu was announced to deliver his speech .
During the Assembly more than 150 states recognized Palestine such as UK, France, Canada, Australia , Israel facing great international pressure for its military operations in Gaza.
