Somali President Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Doha, Qatar, to join other leaders ahead of the Emergency Joint Arab-Islamic Summit.
The meeting will focus on the recent Israeli airstrike on Doha, specifically a building housing Hamas leaders.
During his visit in Doha President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will also hold meetings with some of the leaders of the participating countries to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in various fields.
Somalia participation demonstrates its commitment to playing a prominent role in Islamic and Arab affairs, especially in strengthening unity, solidarity, and economic, security, and political cooperation among member states.
