The former President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, in an interview acknowledged that Federal Government of Somalia has achieved a great diplomatic success, following the controversial agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopia signed in Addis Ababa.
Muse Bihi acknowledged that Ethiopia had lost the lawsuits against the illegal agreement it entered into with Somaliland, due to the pressure from Somalia government and international community.
“The African Union, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation sided with Somalia, which forced Ethiopia to reverse its previous decisions,” Bihi said.
Turkey, Djibouti, Egypt & other countries have focused on finding a solution to the issue between Somaliland and the Federal Government and working towards unity and solidarity, added the former Somaliland President.
