The international community carried out a planned operation in the Ceel-dhiiqo Weyne area, between the Ceel-lahelay and Ceel-garas areas of the Galguduud region.
The operation killed 12 Al Shabab members, including leaders, while 13 others were seriously injured, targeting a training center for more than 400 militants, and the remnants of the militants who fled to the Ceelbuur district are being tracked.
This operation is part of the ongoing objectives of the Federal Government of Somalia, in cooperation with the people and international partners, to eradicate the enemy Al Shabab.
