Kenya; Mandera county elected officials as once again expressed concern over Jubaland troops who are said to have settled among the people living in the town.
Mandera East MP Hussein Weytaan said that these forces are causing a lot of trouble for the community,
The Jubaland troops entered Mandera almost a month after fighting broke out between them and Somalia government forces in Baled Hawa town which borders the town.
Local leaders are now calling on the national government to take urgent action to address the situation and ensure the safety of residents.
