The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegation, has recently arrived in Dhusamareb , where he was welcomed the President of Galmudug State and hundreds of citizens welcomed.
President Hassan Sheikh is expected to have separate meetings with senior Galmudug administration officials, civil society groups and military officials.
The meeting will focus on the war against Al Shabab and how to coordinate operations between the security forces and the local population.
He will also oversee other ongoing development projects, including road and airport construction and also election process.
Dhusamareb is also one of the major cities where the population registration campaign for the one-person-one-vote elections is on-going .
