Government forces and armed civilians protesting against displacement have been fighting since last night until this morning at Horseed Stadium where the Somali Military’s Horseed football team used to be.
The fight started after government force attacked an armed group that had gathered inside the camp, who were refusing to evacuate the residents from the area.
Both sides are exchanging fire with various types of weapons, and various casualties are being reported, although no official figures on deaths or injuries have been obtained.
A military police commander was among those injured in the ongoing fighting in parts of the Hodan district of Mogadishu.
