Somalia and Kuwait signed several agreements to strengthen diplomatic relations

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Abdisalam Abdi Ali, met who met on Tuesday, in Kuwait City, with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya, on the occasion of his official visit.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various sectors. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

 

Following the meeting, several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed, reflecting the two countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation.

These included the establishment of a joint committee for bilateral cooperation, a memorandum of understanding on bilateral consultations, and a cooperation agreement between the Kuwaiti Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
