Turkish embassy officials arriving in Bosaso are set to hold a meeting with Puntland President Said Deni, who is currently in Bosaso, regarding the situation of the Sea World ship.
The SEA World ship was seized by the PMPF forces of the Puntland State of Somalia off the coast of Bareda in Ras Asir on July 18, 2025, which was later transferred to the Puntland administration.
Turkey wants unconditional release of the ship, which was traveling legally and was heading to Mogadishu carrying the weapons cargo on board.
