The Somali government has purchased two Airbus A320 aircraft for Somali Airlines, which will enter service within two months.
The Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mohamed Farah, confirmed that the government has acquired two Airbus A320 planes as part of the revival of the national airline, Somali Airlines.
The contract for the purchase of these aircraft was signed at the Prime Minister’s Office.
“Today we have signed a sales agreement with a company called Lema Air Group. We have sold them two Airbus A320 aircraft, and they will be operational within two months,” the minister said.
