The Somali Police Force have caught a police name Ahmed Nur Mohamud , who was filmed brutally torturing a young Somali girl which has annoyed the community.
The scene, broadcast on social media, was showing the soldier beating the girl badly, causing reactions and outrage by the Somali people.
“This abuse act is clearly contrary to the country’s law and the conduct of the armed forces ” said in the Police Statement. The police also said Ahmed Nur Mohamud would be brought before the competent Court to harmonize the law and justice.
Police also warned all security forces in the country, warning them not to violate the rights of the Somali people, making it clear that a person who is found in abuse of power and acts against the public will face punishment in accordance with the law.
