The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and a delegation he led arrived in Cairo,Egypt.
The president was warmly welcomed at Cairo International Airport, where he was received by senior Egyptian government officials and Somali diplomats.
President Hassan is scheduled to meet with President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to discuss expanding cooperation in the areas of security, economic development, education, and regional stability.
The president is also expected to meet with Somalis living in Cairo and brief them on the current situation in the country.
