The Somalia Rescue Forum and members of the C6+ International Community Delegation held a meeting at the Halane camp in Mogadishu.
These comes after the two days of meetings between the opposition leaders and the Somali President, which failed to reach an agreement on the agenda they were discussing.
The Rescue Forum presented to the International Community that President Hassan Sheikh is not serious about formally agreeing on the issues at stake, and that his plan is to buy time and pursue his own interests.
On the side of the International Community they are making strong efforts to ensure that the Somali parties reach a mutually acceptable agreement before the end of the Somali President’s term.
