The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, continuing the meetings of the National Consultative Forum he previously opened in Mogadishu, today received at the National Presidency officials including former Presidents, former Prime Ministers, the former Speaker of Parliament and other members.
They wii discuss issues such as completing the constitutional review process, implementing a direct electoral process, and coordinating joint efforts to eradicate terrorism.
The government , is fully committed to continuing the national consultations that pave the way for the Somali people to achieve a stable future that leads to democracy, sustainable peace, and development.
This meeting comes at a time when the country’s politics are going through a critical phase, and an official press release is expected to be issued upon its conclusion.
