Members of the Opposition Salvation Forum, who met last night at the residence of former President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, agreed to meet with President Hassan Sheikh, following a request from Villa Somalia.
The members has still not discuss the appropriate time to meet with President Hassan Sheikh and who is going to represent them, as they wait for the former Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid, who is in Nairobi, is expected to arrive in Mogadishu today.
Most of the Opposition Salvation Forum are in the city after trips during the Eid holidays and performing Hajj obligations.
The presidency has also postponed the National Dialogue Conference scheduled for the 22nd of this month to next month, due to President Hassan’s initial meeting with the opposition.
