Somalia Minister of Defense Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, held an official meeting today in Doha, Qatar, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Saud bin Abdirahman bin Hassan Al Thani.
The two Ministers , together with Senior officials from the Ministries of Defense of both countries discussed, strengthening bilateral defense cooperation ,promoting peace and security in the region.
The meeting’s objectives include the return of Somali soldiers who have been trained in Qatar.
Minister Ahmed Macalin Fiqi thanked the government and people of Qatar for their continued support in efforts to bring peace and stability to Somalia.
