President Hassan Sheikh held a meeting with the leaders of registered political associations and discussed the ongoing process of the one-person-vote election.
The President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to finalizing the arrangements and procedures of the election with national consultations of all stakeholders.
Also the organizations that met with the President commended the government’s efforts and determination to complete the democratic process, suggesting that the government increase public awareness of the direct election system.
