The US government last night attacked a tunnel in the Balade River, where ISIS fighters were hiding, including senior members who were being wanted.
The Media Office of the Puntland Operation in Somalia, which issued a brief statement, also confirmed the US airstrikes carried out last night in the Balade stream, and said that they targeted the caves where ISIS militants were hiding.
“The Puntland government’s friends in the United States bombed 4 locations between the Balade and Miraale streams, targeting terrorist groups entering the caves where they were hiding,”he said in his statement at the Media Office of the Puntland Mission.
