Japan Prime Minister announced to resign.

Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has resigned early on Tuesday and dissolved his cabinet, paving the way for Shigeru Ishiba to fill the vacant seat.

The Secretary of the Cabinet, Yoshimasa Hayashi told the media that the resignation of Kishida and all ministers resulted from a meeting he had with the Cabinet this morning.

Mr Shigeru Ishiba who is expected to be the new prime minister was elected as the chairman of the Liberal Democrat Party on Friday. As usual, the person who becomes the leader of Japan’s ruling party, forms the next government.

Later on Tuesday, Ishiba’s new position is expected to be confirmed by a vote in parliament where majority of the House of Parliament is held by the party he leads
