Somalia, currently serving as a non-permanent member of the UNSC, welcomes the ceasefire agreement signed on Saturday between the Government of the DRC and the M23 armed group.
A press release from the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the ceasefire measure will contribute to peace and stability in the eastern regions of DRC Congo.
